About Us
It's the brainchild of two families of Indian descent who decided to finally sate the demand for their culinary heritage. The Morars are long time residents of Windhoek and have lived in Namibia for over 30 years. They are entrepreneurs and have diversified business interests.
The Alexanders moved to Namibia some 17 years ago from India. They too have other business interests.
Taal Indian Restaurant offers authentic Indian food and drink which promises a truly unique and memorable dining experience.
We have created a tantalizing mix of ethnic culinary styles prepared by highly
skilled Chefs from India. Cuisines range from the exotic Mughlai to the simple homely cuisine of the North and South Indian regions ensuring authentic taste and flavor. A wide range of superb wines, spirits and "Bollywood" mocktails are available to complement every meal.
Our menu offers a wide selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes that can be custom-prepared to your preferred taste, Indian dishes such as kebabs, mouth watering curries with appropriate accompanimements, sambals, biriyani's, Indian breads and a choice of Indian deserts.
